That picture of the Mark above is why the Japanese gained entry in to the U.S. market. What a bloated, excessive, heavy, piece of garbage.

Continental MKIII, great car. We had, I think it was, a '69. It was a great car.

The time you can paint like that is limited by condition, too humid, too cold, pollen, wind, etc. Not an ideal way to paint but...

Exactly. We're not going for a show car quality paint job here, just a respectable paint job for an A to B car on a budget. It's not going to get blended, just want it to be close to the same color as the rest of the car.

Those cars looked like they were always going uphill.

A lot of people remember and still carry the scars of having that massive door slam on their fingers as they were coming out of the back seat. That pain was indescribable.
