Question. I am currently using Amsoil ASL with the K&N. Whats the max miles I can go with the K&N. I will start to use the Amsoil SSO oil soon to. My car has alot of miles on it now so I will change out the oil at 12k also.

I was also using a K&N oil filter (2010) before starting Amsoil ASM oil in my Mazda, but decided to switch to the Eao filter for my 1 yr. OCI. I fiqured i'd stick with their own filter for that amount of time. I did like the nut on top of the K&N filter for easy removal.

How many miles do you do in a year? You won't top the EaO for performance ..but you may not tax a K&N for longevity.

Is there a easy way to remove the EAO from the car? The [censored] thing is rounded off
Any kind of strap wrench or filter pliers should grab it.
Some cars place the filters in the worse possible location.
Amsoil has filter wrenches available, look on page 39 of the retail catalog.
