I had a ford flex caliper pin boot kit shipped to me. The kit came with brake caliper shims (wrongs ones might I add).
But that's not the point. The paper box it was shipped in came in an envelope and was banged up pretty good.
The brake pad brackets/shims have some sharp edges. In ideal world it may all be fine but these can easily puncture the boots and cause problems down the road. I checked the boots and yes one of them had a puncture. Would have been annoying issue to fix down the road.
