Opel Zafira 1.9 Diesel, Remapped , last oil change on December 4th 2019!

Apparently OP plans to go even longer, 40 or 50k kms next , 24 or 30k miles.

Previous sample had double the wear with the same mileage. Do they mention any reasoning for that? Wear seems to be much lower on this sample.

Good catch, yeah it's "Double" Si. I read on the forum & they didn't mention why the previous sample was high otherwise.

That seems to have more zinc and phos than the version we see over here in the US.

it wasn't Mobil1 0W-40 FS. lower viscosity, lower everything except wear metals really

10,078 mile run had much lower wear but same general add pack as the one with higher wear.

So the limit for that oil is somewhere between 10,000 and 30,000 km?

The wear particle count per 10,000km is still higher than the mobil 1 though and actually on par with the high wear analysis....

I was speaking about the two older results & not the latest Mobil sample. If we're comparing the 10k run with this last Mobil run the Mobil is lower wear yes.
