It could. WHo knows. Overall, these oils are going to perform much better. Are they going to solve mechanical issues that you might have? No. But, oil might be source of ticking. And these are very thick W30, almost W40 oils with min. HTHS 3.5. You really cannot run anything better than this in an engine. I personally was contemplating Expedition recently due to my needs. Decided not to go. But, if I would get one, this is what I would run during warranty. After? Maybe use Edge 0W30 (exceptional stuff) or even 0W40.
