1992 Mercedes 300SE transmission fluid?

My new to me Mercedes 300 SE needs transmission fluid changed - well, perhaps it doesn't need it but I want to change fluid and filter to know that that is done.

Transmission is older 722.3 or 722.4 model and calls for 236.6 or 236.7 transmission fluid.

Any recommendations regarding the fluid or do I just get Mobil ATF 220 which meets 236.7 and is easily available at the local store?

Back then, Mercedes said any Dexron-II compliant fluid was fine for that transmission. The ATF 220 or any Dexron-III fluid is fine.

Any Dexron type ATF will be fine in that old transmission.

Mercedes didn't use special transmission fluid until 722.6
