    Anyone ever split a tractor

I had major failure on my old Case tractor today. The foot clutch( yes just like a car) needed to be adjusted. I followed the instructions on the book but when I moved the adjusting parts something must have fallen off inside the bell housing. The clutch is now always engaged so I can't use it...

    One of Mercedes dumber ideas.

Changed oil and filter on a GLS450 today. The filter is right above the belt. The canister that contains the oil filter holds about 20oz of oil. Usually i can loosen the cap so that the oil drains as to not make a mess. Not on this car. Did my best to stuff rags all around. Still made a huge...

Used oil filter from a bmw with multiple tears.

Pulled this from a customers x5 this morning. Unknown brand. Unknown miles. Has multiple tears. I put a feeler gauge in one for looks. The whole center is torn... Every pleat. Judging by the outer seals it's not a Hengst or a Mann. I put a Mann back in.

    Death valley pics

We did a day trip today. Didn't get to see everything as the area is huge. Probably take a full week to see everything. I made sure to gas up at every opportunity so we had less of a chance of being a statistic. Had to add the obligerltory California fuel price.

    Air filters are shrinking.

This is the air filter for my jeep. In the past the paper pleats were about 1.25 inches tall. This microgard filter is only about 1/2 tall now . So make shorter pleats that clog up faster and sell more filters.

My little jeep is getting up in miles.

I bought it new June 02. It's had a few issues over the years but has never been on a tow truck. I did have a major mechanical malfunction about 2 years ago. The bearings in the rear Dana 44 axle go bad. Had about 180000 miles at the time. Guess changing the axle oil with synthetic every 20k...
