My current LG shine titanium is great. No complaints whatsoever.

I'd have to say it is the good old Nokia 5190 (the brick).
Very simple, good build quality, and impact resistant.

Motorola StarTac hands down. I agree. It was a phone, not a do everything but make a phone call gadget. I dropped it twice from 15 feet onto concrete and untold number of times from ground level. After years of that kind of treatment, I finally did kill it. I have an LG now. No camera. It has a lot more gadgets than the StarTac, but I just ignore most of them. Not sure what model. I think the number is worn off. I am 6 weeks into a new job. They like to use text messages. I can read them, and I suppose I should figure out how to send one.

My water reistant Sanyo 7050. No camera or gimmicks, but a great boating phone. I ran over it with my truck. The phone still worked, though the LCD screen was leaking making the display hard to read. My new Samsung claims to be water resistant, but when I sweat from mountian biking, the phone goes on the fritz. Durability trumps features any day for me.
