Hi,
I would love to recive some advices about what could be the best possible oil for my application: actually the engine is a 2jz-gte Toyota Supra fully built stroked. This engine should put down 1600rwhp and more at very high boost. I write "SHOULD" as this is the 3rd engine-3rd evolution and the last one putted down more then 1500rwhp.
This one will use and even bigger turbo, more concrete in the water passages and more.
It's not a methanol engine. It will use VP Import fuel.
The last one revved at 10,000/10,500 rpms and we are looking for almost the same on this one.
The weather temperature in this period is around 25/30c (77/86F) even if the car will be used mainly during the evening/nite when the temperatures will be lower (around 20c/68f).
The oil temperature usually never goes over 110c/230f even lower tho.
So far we have used the MOTUL 300v COMPETITION 15w-50 but after reading this interesting forum seems like there could be better oil for our application-.
I don't mind changing the oil ever 500 miles or less if needed.
I have read that the ELF HTX 833 is an oil used in Formula 1? (I don't really think so), Eneos too? Amsoil?......
I am pretty confused.
