First Fram I've bought in years.
I was a little surprised that it was just in a box and not wrapped or sealed in any way.
I guess Mobil 1 and NAPA gold got me spoiled.

Just put an M1 on my sons car 8 hrs ago. No "wrapped or sealed."

I purchased eight online for my two cars, all eight had this seal on the box.

All the Ultras that fit my car had sealed boxes too.

I bought two Fram cartridge filters for my car. They were both sealed on the top of the carton with a tamper evident clear tape. The bottom of the carton was easily opened without any evidence. Both cartons contained the correct filters.

I would be too! I wouldn't want someone at Walmart to swap it out for the orange can of death!

When I got my Fram Ultra from Walmart, 5 out of 6 boxes were opened. I got the only one that was still sealed. Meanwhile over at Pep Boys, they got one single Fram Ultra on the shelf and it's still sealed.

ADV failure, blown head gasket, etc...

I knew someone that actually did that, all to save $4. What a piece of work.
