We spend $200 and change a year to get a $2 million umbrella policy that covers any losses above our auto and homeowners policies that have a $300,000 limit of liability.

We have $1 million liability on our car insurance which the normal coverage here, 200k is the minimum but the difference in cost isn't much.
Seems odd that we carry higher limits up here, but I guess with less litigation its "cheap insurance"...
