Question about TGMO

So you are using a Toyota oil in your Honda hey.

A longer OCI at the expense of a funny noise with the TGMO after a couple days of non use.

I would use the OEM Honda Oil in a Honda and see what happens.

Why not use a Honda Oil in Honda?

Probably because Porsche backspecced to 5W40...and Ford spec a 5W20

Your conjecture contradicts itself outright because even if you had 20W-60, it would still be very thin when hot and it would flow through tiny openings with no problem. Therefore, this is definitely not the case.

Really? Cam variators and hydraulic valve adjusters do react with different oil viscosity. This is why sometimes worn valve adjusters can be quieted with different oil grade. Same principle goes with cam actuators.
Over here we've been dealing with those from mid 90's.

Still waiting on BMW and Mercedes to make the give shift in the use to 0w-20 in the USA and Europe. Perhaps their oils will be interchangeable as well.

Once these oils are well run in, do not use the vehicle for a couple of days , as the oil molecules have been pre-programmed and will give your engine free start up music to confirm the change.

This engine music could be possibly be confused with a harsh parts grinding noise, do not be alarmed as this process is in its early days, in the future the oil molecules will be programmed and will be able to belt out your favorite tune for you to sing along to.

This is not good, so you will need to choose your oils carefully, if you WANT an engine to be a like a deaf mute which cannot speak and cannot be heard throughout its entire operating life when in use or no matter how its be sitting idle.
