Should I replace the other one as well?

Hey everyone, I recently had sidewall damage done to one of my tyres and as a result I had to replace it. As the car came with asymetrical tread patttern, I had to replace with asymetricals which were double the cost of what I walked into the shop thinking I had to pay. (Why didn't I think of replacing both with symetricals which would've been cheaper

) So now on the front axle, I have one old and one new asymetrical, different brands/tread design however....
Would there be any problems/decreased handling and braking?

In what condition are the other tires?

It may be best/safest to have the same two on each axel.
