Good old WD40 is $20 gallon at Autozone and creeps into seams and such. I actually started mixing the FF and WD40 to get the FF to flow a little better.
BE CAREFUL - but you can heat it up a bit to get it to flow better - BE CAREFUL
I live in Georgia, and don't really need rust prevention - no road salt. But I used it on all over and especially on rubber parts - everything is like new.
