Sorry: What's the oz amount of tcw3 for lubricity

I was just verifying that the amount of tcw3 for lubricity in gas engines is 2oz:10gal. Isnt tcw3 - less is more, as in don't over use as it will cause issues but less wont hurt... Just not optimal. Right?
The tank of the daily driver is 13gal. That's around 2.6oz I think.
 
13 gallons = 1664 ounces. So 2.6 ounces is a 640:1 ratio. I would guess that you are safe at that ratio, but I would wait till someone who actually knows what they are talking about to tell you for sure

And while I have poured MMO, Techron, really old 2 stroke oil, Tcw3, and other stuff into my tank in the past, I only use Techron once a year now.
 
You are lucky with good gas in the US. Just use it as supplied, with a bottle of Techron once in a while.

With thousands of dollars at stake, why mess with it?

That's because too many folks just like to play scientists here on BITOG these days, and that's why things like MMO still sells....
