Redline 5w20 and I'm pretty happy with it. Puralator filter I will change at 5k miles and keep running the Redline for another 10k on a better syn filter.

Wife's 2002 Honda Civic LX automatic.

Mobil Super 5000 5W-20 and Purolator L14610 filter.

To me it's just a conventional motor oil and I don't care what "5000" means. Will probably change in 6 months since the car gets low mileage and it's sort of been neglected. I looked up the factory recommendation, and it's 20K miles for normal driving for oil filter replacement?

The strange thing is that I don't know where her owners manual is, but looked it up. I couldn't find anything other than a recommendation that a 5W-20 motor oil meeting the latest API spec is recommended. They go into temporary replacement for manual transmission fluid of an API SG, SH, or SJ motor oil with SG preferred. The filler cap does say API SJ minimum though.

Wow!
A 0W-20 with a 210 VI and a 2.8cP HTHSV.

I might have pushed it too far.

I'm a little worried it might be too thin..

Should be especially good during the winter months.
I take it the oil is filled to the max level on the dip stick?

Yeah,5 liters puts it right on the full line.Made it really easy to do the 80/20 blend, which is nice.
