I love this.

I have always wanted to rattle-can a vehicle--- but like, actually putting some reasonable effort into it! There aren't many sturdy paints available, I don't think, that would hold up over time.

Hey the duplicolor rim paint can be had in silver and graphite and clear. Dries super-tough (after 7 days!) and does quite well on rims, doors, diffs, engine/trans pans.... worth a shot.

Yeah, what a screwball setup. 5 lug, 7 spoke. All else equal it is hard to beat the 5 spoke pattern for aesthetics.

For me, I will be happy with plain steel wheels painted black and hub caps.

Considering it is a bandaid on an older vehicle it looks clean. Wont last but it is clean. Enjoy it while it lasts!

I used to paint the steel wheels on my 72 Bug every spring. I used a brush though.
