Gearwrench vs. SK tools vs. Snap-On

SK for sure.

My favorite ratchet in my toolbox is an SK.. It's had bar extensions put on it, and abused beyond what it should take, it works perfectly.
 
Snap-On. There is no equal. If you don't mind spending money, its the only brand to consider. IF you want to save a few $$$ then SK is usually fairly good quality.
 
I have actually designed tooling fixtures that are used to manufacture Snap-On sockets in their Elkmont, AL facility. So, by buying Snap-On, you are not only getting quality US made tools; you're also showing support (in a very small way) for a fellow BITOGer's work.
 
I have broken Snapon Half inch breaker bars ,,, I won't tell you the length of pipe I used for additional leverage though.
