Why is everyone so down on Fram oil filters here

those old powerful engines did not have more oil pressure than the engines of today most had less oil pressure

I used Fram oranges on my 3000GT and never had a single problem at all in the entire 150,000 miles I had her. I`d have no problem at all using them again. How are their racing filters?

They are about the same construction as the basic Extraguard, but with flow over filtration in mind, and a stiffer canister. I wouldn't use them except for racing because the media is kind of porous compared to everyday filters.
