I'm reading wix is one of top oil filter but I haven't seen them around. Do any uap stores have them?

CarQuest sells them as the house brand.

As Steve mentioned, the Carquest house brand is Wix, but get the premium version, as I don't believe their entry level version is a Wix.
If you go to UAP/NAPA, their NAPA Gold filter is a Wix.
Believe it or not, the Kralinator filter sold at Mr.Lube is also a Wix!
All of those filters are made to identical specs by Dana, which is located in Cambridge, ON

Last time I checked (a few months ago) NAPA's Silver filter was also made by Dana.
