Wheel Vibration ?

Hi Guys,

I started noticing small wheel vibration ... not sure if its due to low profile tires (35) and more feedback from road, Or maybe I lost a stick on weight because I can see one spot there ...not sure if its from previous balancing or not.

Can I move rear wheel to fron to test if vibration stops and is due wheel balancing ?

Car is AWD...

What car?
Yes you can rotate the wheels and look for an obvious missing wheel weight.
Is it noticeable as a steering wheel shimmy or do you feel it in the seat of your pants?
Does the vibration vary with speed or just increase with speed?

My Bimmer had a vibration at certain speeds that was finally resolved by replacing the front ball-joints and they weren't badly worn.

Does your steering wheel or seats shake/shimmy?

I was always told that if the steering shakes, it's the front wheels, if the seats shake, it's the back ones.

My car recently had vibration/buzzing, it turned out the driver side wheel bearing was going bad so I had that replaced.
