Is anyone else having issues with this thread being terribly slow to load and rendering your browser unresponsive while all the videos load??? I used to come into this thread to find good music and all the embedded Youtube videos would load quickly and I could scroll through it quickly, but all of a sudden, it takes almost a full minute for them to load before Firefox becomes stable and useable again.

It used to be the worst. FF thinks it need to cache everything on the page. Find and download Cache Status : http://firefox.add0n.com/cache-status.html?type=context
Set FF RAM cache at 1000 KB and disk cache at 100 MB (Trust me, I know it sounds small, but your system should love it) - This limits cache hungry FF (false hunger IMHO)
Since I have installed it this page loads right up and there are seemingly NO side effects.
