Here's some neat cooling system tools. I especially like the coolant drain socket set at the bottom. And also the coolant testers like the refractometer. It is accurate and can even check batteries. It's kind of pricy though.

Coolant refractometers can be bought for much less than $120.

I bought the Robinair 75240.

For petcock sockets I just cut slots on cheap sockets of approprate sizes.
