Post your latest oil change

Yes - supposed to be a Toyota part - but it was in a plain box.
I have a new Dorman that looks slightly different - both seem to have well machined grooves - but a bit large for the O-ring …
I got 2 Toyota aluminum filter housings at Toyota online; delivered to my local store. Pretty cheap.
It's called "cap assy", under Scion. $12.

Wife just told me her cherokee is >1,000 km away from an oil change being due. We have a busy couple of weeks ahead of us with nothing going on this weekend so i went to wal mart and found this mobil FS on sale. Buddy runs the local fast lube so i popped by and he sold me one of his filters for cheap.

We are trading it off at the end of next month so this will be good enough.

A little early. The drained oil goes to a kid with an abused engine which passes oil.

Q: Mazda has a little hatch you remove to access the filter and drain plug.....fine.
There are two 8mm screws and two plastic expanding push fasteners.
Why would a car maker specify two types of fastener? It seems inefficient to me.
We have a 2022 CX5, although the combined fasteners are a minor annoyance, oil changes are still very easy on these cars.

GLA45: MB 0W-40 AMG oil (From ECS Tuning) and Hengst E155H01D122 (white filter media with some sort of plastic nylon mesh backing). The filter is labeled as an upgraded filter for the application on FCP Euro. I plan to run this for about 5K miles and send sample to Blackstone to compare to the VOA I sent them a few weeks ago (haven't got the results of that yet but will post in the VOA section when I do).

First time I have used this oil but not the first time I have used this filter. Also did the Engine and cabin air filters (OEM MB filters, FCP Euro using their refund program). Next weekend is rear diff fluid change and front brake inspection and lubrication, along with a few other small items.

Outgoing oil was Castrol Euro 0W-40 and the MB oil filter; about 5000+ miles on that oil and filter.

Swapped air filter because I had one on the shelf from a long gone Nissan of some kind. Yay!

This is a co-worker of my neighbor, a great gal, single Mom. They asked for a little help.
Oil did not register on the dipstick. Rad overflow was empty. Tire pressures were from 15 to 37 psi. 26 is on door sticker.
Small oil drip on my driveway.

I was hoping to see a timing belt underhood sticker, but no luck.

2016 Subaru OB 2.5 100k mi, 5 qt (in/out Pennzoil Plat 5W 30, WIX 57055) w 6 month OCI (5-6k mi)
- switched from 0W 20 (2 OCIs ago) due to the oil burning issue (a bit better but not gone)
- a tiny bit of residual oil in the oil catch can

2005 Porsche Boxster 2.7 77k mi, 8 qt (out unknown, in M1 0W 40, Hengst E14HD77) w 1 year OCI (5-6k mi)
- recently acquired and suspected whether the dealer really changed the oil (due to other issues I had with them)
- the oil was clean (after 2k), as it should, but slightly overfilled with 8.7 qt (measured)
- plus the gasket was missing (no leaks though)
- also installed a Votex stainless steel magnetic drain plug instead of the soft OEM aluminum (almost stripped my friend's 986 Boxster drain plug in the past, hence the change)
