Outgoing oil/filter was Same/Same used 4000 miles/7 months.

1984 Correct Craft Ski Nautique
351 Windsor Ford
4 quarts Mobil Delvac 1300 15W40
K&N filter dumped and reused

out was Delvac, probably about 30 hours on it.

I contemplated other oils I had in my stash, including Swepco 40, Mercruiser 25w40, both dino and syn blend, Delo 400 LE 15W40, GC, Valvo 10W40 syn motorcycle oil, and Total Quartz 10W50 racing, and LubroMoly 5W40.

Decided to not to start using syn in a boat I've had for 28 years. Not due to price, just not necessary. Would have used the Swepco but I don't like the start visc of straight weight 40.

1997 Toyota Tacoma SR5, Supercharged
5qt M1 EP 5w30 + 1qt M1 0w40
M1-110 filter

I forgot this was a 6qt job and only bought a 5qt jug of the 5w30. Oops. Fortunately I have a small stash of 0w40.

Three quarts Mobil Super Synthetic 5W30, 1 quart each 5W30/10W40 old Valvoline Durablend SJ I found in his basement from 1999 or later. Mobil 1 M1-204 filter installed. Going to run this until spring or 6,000 miles, drain the oil and replace with Mobil Super Synthetic 10w30 and keep the Mobil 1 filter installed for 12,000 miles.

Changed oil with my wife's car, with my father-in-law and bro-in-law. We took out some old Kendall Oil from a previous oil change place, and put in a Pure One filter, and Pennzoil High Mileage Conventional. This was on the RAV.

Edit : She says she sees an increase in pep with the Pennzoil.

2001 Accord 220K miles

out: Valvo Synpower 5W30

in: Pennz Plat 0W20, PureOne filter

Was having some bad consumption with the previous fill, and the Pennz Ultra 5w20 before that, but a new PCV valve seems to have solved that.

Also did power steering res change, OEM fluid, and tire rotation. Front to back only since Hydroedge are directional.

Cool aside, while I was out working on this unseasonable amazing weather day, a Stealth bomber flew over my house twice while doing a flyover at Arrowhead stadium for the Chiefs Broncos game.

Wife's 1997 Camry 4-banger.

159,740 miles.

Out: Maxlife 5w-30 Semi-Syn & PureOne filter.

In: Mobil 1 5w-30 & PureOne filter.

Mobil 1 (I wouldn't have bought it, but on sale for $2.99 a Qt...) in for the low Pour Point for super-cold Winters up here in Minnesota!

Such a nice day out I did my wife's Accord this morning, and my 2000 Concorde 2.7 this afternoon.

out: 2 qt 0w30, 3 qt 10w30 Mobil 1, PureOne

in: 0w40 Lubromoly, PureOne

4K on oil, 81K on car. OCI was short but I wanted to get the pre winter change done since the weather was so nice.

Did the PS res pump out and fill with Super Tech ATF +4

I did my VERY FIRST oil change on a car.

Car 2010 Nissan Altima 4 cyl
mileage is 39000

OUT: dealer bulk 0w-50
hastings filter (In car when I bought it on 8/31)
IN : Valvoline 5w-30 full synthetic
Bosch Distance Plus #3300

The hardest part was getting it high enough to get underneath it to get to the drain plug. BUT my neighbor who helped me today is installing a lift in his garage, so it will be ALOT easier next time.
