2002 Jeep Liberty 3.7L V-6 with 139K total miles.

Oil and filter out: Valvoline MaxLife 5W30 semi-syn red bottle, Motorcraft FL400S.

Oil and filter in: Valvoline MaxLife 5W30 semi-syn red bottle, Motorcraft FL 400S.

Miles on oil: 3980
 
2007 Grand Caravan 3.3 FlexFuel 85k
Valvo Durablend from a K-Mart closeout 1.79 each 10-30
ST3614 filter
I've used everything from 5-20 to 15-40 in this van. It just keeps on ticking, and is not picky at all. Maybe 1 tank out of 10 is gas, the rest is E85.
 
A friend brought his 03 Ford Windstar(130K) over today and we changed his oil.

New filter M1 209

In: Castrol Edge 5w-30//Mobil 1 Filter

Does anyone have any suggestions for how long to run the Edge for?

We'd need more info about driving habits and conditions.

That's about a 9-10 month run. I still haven't figured out how to post pics here, but through the oil fill hole it is very clean. He told me he plans to keep this van until at least 250K,which is only another 120K, so I think the engine is good for that and beyond. Also he hasn't done a UOA, but every change we do the one drop rest and it always looks good.

Hi All. First post here. Love this site.

Decided after driving my wife's 1998 Corolla for the last 8 years that I'm going to do my own oil changes from now on. Tired of going where ever and having whatever put in to it. Will OCI at 5K-6K. Driven about 22,000 miles per year.
