I get somewhere between 16-18 MPG, even sometimes 20 MPG on a good day.

However I get down to 10-11 MPG when driving on hilly places or on freeways with a slight grade. The 4sp auto trans sucks when hill climbing where I have to turn off the OD gear.

1995 Dodge Caravan 125K miles

3.0L V6 - modified

City 17mpg
Highway 21-23mpg (depending on how fast I drive)

I drive it like a kid would.

It was way worse before. ARX made a hug difference.

This post is a partial repeat with some new info

2005 VW Jetta Diesel Wagon.
47.6 mpg on a 2000 mile round trip from near Sacramento CA to Tucson Az including about 200 miles of driving around the Tucson area.

I drove 65 mph (true speed by GPS) on cruise control 95%+ of the time. I occasionally drove a bit faster to avoid obstructing traffic in the slow lane.

Worst tank in the 6000 miles I have on the Jetta has been 38.0 mpg.

2006 C6 Corvette, manuel transmission
29-30 mpg on long highway runs at quasi-legal (5 over) speeds.

Low 20s driving smoothly but quickly on twisty roads.

Well, since there's only one other diesel automobile listed on here I'll post mine:

50.98 MPG on my last fill-up.
780 miles on the tank with 15.3 gallons.

Not too bad for a 9 year old, 205,000 mile commuter vehicle.

1999 VW Golf TDI.

2006 Mercury Milan Premier I4/auto >42,000 miles to date
90% highway last 10,000 miles my average 29.2 (winter driving)
Last summers average 34.1 (May-Oct)
Best Mileage on one tank of fuel to date 36.6
PP 5/20 FP every fill up. Watch my scangauge carefully and drive carefully to get the best fuel mileage I can.

1994 Toyota Corolla 1.8L 5 speed manual, 150K:

All highway averages about 38 mpg.

All city summer driving, about 34 mpg.

All city winter driving, especially this year, has been dismal. Only getting about 31 mpg.

Best mileage was 42 driving through the mountains of CO with lots of coasting downhill - but with equal amounts of pedal to the metal up 7% grades at 70 mph.

Averaging a little over 25 mpg in the Passat so far, this year. Not bad, given the number of short trips I make.

Wow..

First tank of gas in 08' Corolla CE, I got 34MPG 30%city/70% highway in very cold and snowy weather of WI.

2000 Saturn SL 1.9L on 100% hwy got 42.5 mpg. A solid mix of city/hwy recently got me 37 mpg. This car has been driven in the much warmer climate of Louisiana for the past two months on a job assignment I am on and my mileage shot up a few mpg's over Wisconsin mileage.

Tl: Me driving I had 26mpg combined over 35,000 miles. 32-35 on the freeway was not uncommon.

Girlfriend driving the TL for a week averaged 15mpg. Not sure how she did this because even when I took it for a few laps against my friend's IS350 it still got 16mpg.

GN: I've managed 28 on the freeway on 91 octane advancing the timing and leaning it out until it surged. Torque convertor locked.

Around town it averages 8mpg or less since I have a 3,800 stall convertor and don't baby it. Probably the worst mileage of any V6 on here.
