No. In my field of work, I can work from home on bad weather days, so I do.

I am the one, however, hunting on the top of the snowy Appalachian mountain ridge when all the 2WD and 4WD pickups with All Season tires are parked by the road. My Dakota is not the ultimate off-road machine, and never will be, but with stock size A/T tires and a locking rear diff, it does quite well.

1 or 2 contact patch's that provide forward thrust will always lose to 4.

Nothing beats being able to stop on a steep hill and go.


Stopping and turning always beats go. Everything uses all 4 tires for that!


Never had a problem with that just going.
