I'd love to find a beneficial additive that would help combat the fuel dilution. I just drained my 3,000 mile/7 month interval of Platinum and Blackstone has a sample. I do short trips (hence the mileage) so I think my fuel dilution might be pretty high.
I'd consider this an excellent report for a new engine including the copper (likely from the oil cooler). The wear numbers are excellent as are the insolubles for his driving. The fuel contamination will go down as the engine break in and is a non issue when compared to the wear values. Stick with the recommenced 5w30 & PP. It has proved to be an excellent oil in my CX7 DI engine.
Great on the CS inserts, to hear you're on top of things! I'm Nikolai over on mazda3forums. Just registered on mazdaspeedforums too, lots of good info. there.
