Quite a few torn 14610s. Can't recommend until I see improvements.

Have a look at the Zee's post above to see what I mean.
Also this is one of the filters that are 99% @ 40 microns.
 
There's people on this board who think we all get together at some yearly meeting and decide to bash Purolator for financial gain I suppose or just for fun?

I am a previous PureOne user, but now I don't use them.

The facts are the filters tear. Whether or not it is doing any harm is up in the air but I don't like it either way.

I agree, you nailed it.
Like you said, nobody here knows if any of these "high quality" filters have caused any damage or accelerated engine wear, but I'm not willing to risk it. Too many other choices.
