Oil and filter for 2nd gen. Scion xB?

My father in-law has a second generation Scion toaster.. I mean xB. I don't know what year it is, but I need to know what viscosity it takes and some suggestions. Almost all highway miles, daily trips from eastern PA to NYC, both ways. I don;t know how he does it, lol.

I think he would appreciate an oil change kit as a gift.

0W-20 or 5W-20 is what it calls for.

I will let the others chime in on type of oil.
You should get many viewpoints.

What brands has he used in the past with good results.
That would be a good place to start.

Pennzoil Platinum 5w-20 should do the trick.

All highway miles probably good for 10k miles or up to 1 year.
