So instead of reusing the NAPA gold like I was planning, I want to pick up a new filter for the ~5k mile run on Havoline I'm planning after the HG change. I was thinking about a white can Purolator, or the ACDelco PF47. Both use Nitrile ADBVs, instead of the better Silicon. Can I expect any problems from these, as far as cold starts are concerned?

Good for under 7500 miles, I use Delcos on my silverado and run them down to 0 percent olm sometimes with a nitril adbv, 6 month time limit.

Ok not worried about that. My only other concern is the lower efficiency (97.5% for the Classic) after the headgasket change, would I want the 99% efficient PureONE, or will the Classic be just fine. (I mean I understand that even a FRAM would be "just fine" but within the realm of OCD.... Ya know.
