Need new ATX DDR4 Motherboard

Mine died if you followed my other thread.

I have 64 Gig of DDR4 ram, new PSU, etc

Just need a MB to fit this large case with a decent processor for OK price. I prefer Intel, but that's an ancient bias.

Ideas, links more than welcome.

I'd opt for an AMD Ryzen CPU. It seems AMD is less affected by past CPU vulnerabilities. I'd look on Newegg for a proper motherboard and CPU.

Are you near a Microcenter? They have a Ryzen 5600x with a motherboard combo for $200, and takes ddr4. Its in-store only though.

B550 and 5800X combo can be had for ~$375-400ish and is more than enough for anything you’re carrying old parts over with. Plus you get Gen IV PCIe for SSDs that are stupidly quick.

The 4070s are great. Equal in power to the 3080Ti but better RT and DLSS performance - if you were looking to game with the PC.

Rx580 is available at MicroCenter for shipping at $129 right now. Depending on what you have, that’s a decent upgrade that will match well with midrange parts. If you’re willing to drop $300+, 6750XT is over twice the card as the 580, and at the $500 level you’ve got the RTX 4070.
