MOPAR FIAT oil filter

This one fits all Fiat 500 models and Dart with 1.4 Turbo. Looks nicely made, also smaller than I expected it to be( Galaxy Tab 3 10.1" under it so you can imagine size).
Had to fight with my cat over rubber gasket, she loves rubber bands, plastic circles and so on.
Who makes them for Chrysler? I'm thinking of getting wix next from Rock Auto.
Got this one from modern performance for 6.99 dealer wants over 8,but shipping kills a deal and I only added it because I ordered blow of valve/plate from them and had to pay shipping anyway.
BTW that valve makes awesome loud swoosh between gear shifts and installs in 15 min without cutting any pipes.

I thinl euro models use canister filter.

It looks like a filter for an Ecotec. Hengst makes the filter canister for GM, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same setup in the Fiat.

I owned some old 60's 283's and 327's and my cartridge replacement was toilet paper.

Better than "engineered fiber" aka cardboard end caps in FRAM filters.
MB filters look better, longer, more pleats, metal caps, but this one has 4 qt sump and states to longer than 10k oci, so should be fine.
Other filters I can buy are: Wix, Mann,Fram. will try them all. They all look very similar.
