I started my normal 10K OCI (miles) in 1978 with M1 5-20 and have continued that for the last 46 years.You got me beat too. I first started using M1 in 1988. Back then it was only sold at Esso stations and I think it was $8 a liter! I only used it for a couple of short intervals in my 88 Dodge Shadow ES Turbo and then I went back to using Castrol XLR, which was only $1 a liter. I was changing my oil every 3000 km back then!

Mobil 1 has definitely served you well over the years and you've saved a lot of time and money by sticking with 10k intervals.
Thank you. Also I've never had an engine increase in oil consumption from start to when I sold the vehicle. All engines stayed very clean as well. Some engines over 300K.Mobil 1 has definitely served you well over the years and you've saved a lot of time and money by sticking with 10k intervals.
