Improper installation of oil filter issue

Strapping a stick of TNT on the filter and lighting the fuse works pretty good.

No way! If that happens I will remove the filter and buy a car with the correct engine the filter fits. Why throw a perfectly good used for multiple OCI's filter away?

Never had a problem with factory-installed filters as long as you use the correct metal-type cup wrench for removal.
