I have used many different. oils in many different. machines many many hours. i am out of the lawn business for a weekly check to play in the trees . i have a toro recycler early. 90's model with briggs 97777 ohv5.5gts. used nothing but syn, 5or10w-30 usually 20-25hr oci's tops, never a drop low and still see through clear of amber color. It has 500+hours my business. use plus the ten years of comercial use before me. i have a 3.75hp spirit flatty b&s that has 5yrs of 20-35hrs a week, used m1 0w30 for the first 3-4yrs. now it gets what ever bottle has16-20 ounces. still a runner with only a small puff at first start of day. no oil usage. still gots power to swing that 22" through heavy heavy grass.
