I believe there were some clogged oil passages that starved the bearing. She must have driven it around for a while. This engine was out of a 92 Trans Am 305 V8 with about 98k miles.

eww, how old was that filter? we use PowerFlo as the backshop brand filter in my shop and ive never seen any with those markings.
AutoRX should clean that right up. Looks fine to me.
