I am just starting to build my stash. For now I have:

10 Quarts Peak dino 5W30
10 Quarts PYB 5W20
15 Quarts PP 5W20

35 quarts total
32,106 BITOG total
 
I gave two quarts to my son to keep in the Prius that he will drive to Boston this January. So I need to subtract them, unless he brings them back.

32,000 quarts etc plus so what. BITOG therapy required here.

Perhaps if you got a prize or something. I am not sure who is impressed.

Having read BITOG the last thing I have come in conclusion to do is stash up on oil. (Due to former members often trying to off load surplus superseded stock as oils are gradually upspec'd and takes up lots of room in garage or basement.)

What I mean by stashing is in excess of sufficient for top up and the next oil change for each vehicle.

Buying in bulk is no longer cheaper as it often less expensive to buy during 3 monthly sales clearance drives when and as required.

+5 quarts I got today on the Pep Boys sale.

Total: 32186 quarts


I suggest we do not count oil additives in this stash as they often can be used for other stuff.
