With 3 cars, if you do oil change twice a year and assume that each car needs 5 quarts you need more than 7 years to use up your strategic reserve of 230 quarts.

I do the oil changes for my family and friends cars. total of about 10 cars including mine..otherwise no way I'm keeping a stash this big just for 3 cars..
8 liters is not reserve, it's not enough for 1 oil change in a MB or BMW. You need to stock up whenever you find good price such as $2-3 or less a liter syn oil or $1 or less a liter dino.
We have free Peak oil + filter after rebate, I'm going to get some today. My reserve is more than 70 quarts and I have only 3 cars to take care of.

Call it 124 quarts. Pffft, 31 gallons. That's only 2 tanks of fuel if I pour it in the Mercedes.
Hmm, so I'm not the only one calling it the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. Let's hope like [censored] that room is dark enough that the fiance doesn't go in there.
