I have two quarts....... of Synlube.
Since we only drive 65000 miles with our two cars in a year, it will last some two years.


So if I buy extra oil because it will be free after rebate or seriously discounted I'm not smart? I don't understand how buying oil that will end up being free or $1.99 per quart is not using my brain buy buying the same stuff at $5+ per quart is. Trolling ******.

Oh and I just bought 12 more quarts of Pennzoil Platinum (free after rebate) which I believe bring the grand total to: 15883

I do not see the problem with buying oil when it is on sale. Especially if you find an oil that your vehicle works well with. I do not believe that this in turn drives oil prices up. I currently have 20 L of oil and should last a year or 2. I do not plan to buy any more oil until then, unless I see that it goes on sale. I dont see a problem with being a smart consumer. You will find that most of the guy with enormous stashes of oil, got them at next to nothing price when they were on sale or a rebate of some sort.

Before adding my stash in add 2 qts more of the GTX and GTX HM ,also 1 5 qt jug of Valvoline 5w20 and 2 qts of M1 5w20.

A lot has happened since this total was posted and I need to make some major adjustments. We will subtract the total listed above and add the following:

12 quarts Pennzoil Platinum 10W-30
12 quarts Conklin Convoy 5W-20
2 quarts Conklin Convoy 5W-30
2 quarts of 2-cycle oil

So my new total is 28 quarts.

And the new total would be 15,899

I'm sure others have made major adjustments over the years, but it's still interesting to see so many oil nerds.
