I want to clean and or "polish" the gauge covering (plastic part) of the dash on my 66 nova. What's a good one that won't leave any scratches?

Meguiar's Plast-X Clear Plastic Cleaner and Polish. You mean the clear part right? If so then the Meguiar's is great.

Works well in my experience.

I've had good luck with Plastx. I've used it on eyeglasses, DVDs, faceplates, yellowing clear cover on gas meter, etc. It works, and won't cause additional scratches if you use the correct media for application and removal.

+2 If you can get a hold of the mirror glaze version it is even better.
