Front strut recommendation for 2005 Buick Park Avenue

My Dad has a 2005 Park Ave and he put Monroe ready struts on it a couple years ago. They were garbage and are shot.

Anyone have a recommendation for a replacement. It looks like OEM springs and struts are discontinued.

I have read people here not liking KYB for domestic applications. Doesn't seem to be many options. Duralast has a liftime warranty set but I assume those are just rebranded Monroe?

I would prefer pre- assembled obviously, but if needed I could get the parts shipped to me and assemble, and ship to him. He has plenty of helpers around but no one I would trust to assemble struts. He taught me how to do it years ago, but he's a bit too old now for that I fear.

Rockauto does still carry the oe struts, springs, and mounts for your car.

They only have one strut in stock, but it does still seem to be available. They also have the oe strut mounts.

Lesjofors is probably the oe supplier for the springs, so get lesjofors springs.
