Pablo, if you have SP1 or SP2 for Vista, yeah, it's overblown hpype for the most part. But the original release of Vista was awful with wireless devices. Bleccch. lol
Lastly, put Win7 on the same hardware and you'll enjoy it more. It really does reduce boot times, have less of a memory footprint and feel quicker than Vista. After running Win7 on this laptop, it makes Vista feel a bit sluggish.
