It appears this is going nowhere. It seems to me that there is a difference between being difficult and being non-responsive.

There's also a difference between being rude and being minimalist in the discussion being held.

There's also a difference between spouting out too much information, being minimally talkative, and being practically unresponsive.

Just because police pull someone over or interact doesnt mean its adversarial or trouble. It doesnt hurt to be reasonably polite and friendly, but that doesnt mean that one has to say sir and use excess pleasantries or anything.

Different people have different ways to interact. There may be some ways that are wrong, but most anything should be OK. It doesnt look like anyone will be changing anyone elses' mind, and I had to remove a few name calling posts, so I think this will need to rest...
