Looks normal. A few slightly wavy pleats seems to be the norm for Purolators.

Speaking of wavy pleats, I've noticed that the waviness "issue" is becoming more common in the Classics, especially the ones at Walmart. Could it be that due to the increased demand by Walmart, Puro's Q&A can't catch up?

Or maybe More people are getting filter cutters?

Is there really anything wrong with a couple of wavy pleats? If not, why would the Q&A pull or scrap a wavy-pleated filter?

IMO, a few wavy pleats is not a big deal. I'm wondering if the pleats are straight when the filter is new, and they try to grow a little bit during use which causes them to go wavy a little bit (?).
