In Maine I could drive an unloaded Peterbilt on a "normal" Class C driver's license if it wears antique tags, and I'm doing the parade thing. One can also pull a flatbed trailer with parade float chairs and junk on it.
I presume no formal action was taken against Chris, they just read him the riot act. Cop's interpretation being key.
