Another good reason not to buy used tires

I was on tirerack.com, pricing winter tires for my Focus last fall. The only one that made a snow tire in Canada/US/Mexico was goodyear. I needed to know to avoid duty charges at the border.
 
The day you leave the tire shop your tires become used. Does that mean you should turn around and replace those "used" tires?

People, check your pressures, check for deformities in tread, look for bubbles, don't buy garbage tires (new OR used), and avoid potholes and other road hazards.

This recent used tire bashing is ridiculous and painting with a VERY wide brush.

Should we condemn every used car just because some are not roadworthy?
