Another fram cut open (tractor application)

This filter has ~50 hours on it with 15w-40 rotella. It looks fine to me.

Thanks for posting. What filter number is it?

That oil color looks a bit... metallic? Probably meaningless but it looks a little abnormal.

The last Fram I bought 10 years ago had half the media of most other lower priced filters. Of course, it is possible for less of a better media to do as well. I haven't rechecked a Fram, but STP and Purolator have a lot less media than 10 years ago.

it is an extra guard PH3593A. The metallic color is due to the camera I think.

Thanks. The 3593A is a common-sized filter mainly for Hondas. What kind of tractor is it for? Was it a diesel?

The color looks more gray/black than a dirty honey color most used oil ends up turning. Just curious.
