Every oil mentioned in this thread exceeds the need. Do whatever makes you feel best and don't loose any sleep. I would use 5W20 of whatever brand or grade I found on sale as long as it met the current API level (SM).

Well I got a motorcraft filter and filter tool today from walmart. All I need is a set of ramps, a ratchet, and I can do the oil change. I'll put that redline in there next month.
Why do they say "Six months or 5000 miles" or whatever with oil. Why not just rate longevity in mileage? What does time have to do with it if the stuff essentially doesn't "spoil" in the first place?

It doesn't matter what you do. Driving it way you say you do, you'll croak before the car does, no matter what oil you choose.
